239th "heavy" troopers
If the EPEC security isn't enough to protect the colonists, there is a solution: the troopers from the 239th infantry division:

It seems the beta-3 colony is a quiet place. Sometimes, the troopers have to fight off a raider's attack, once in a while. Otherwise, it's very quiet.....
Bon, il faut bien avouer que c'est une affectation plutôt pépère, avec seulement, de temps en temps, une attaque de raiders à repousser.

[WIP] European Federation fleet
Along with my beta-3 colony project, I've started another one, linked to it: how did humans get there in the first place? They need a space fleet to transport them, and protect them, just in case.
So, let me present you... my first three star ships:
Parallèlement à mon project colonie Beta-3, j'ai entrepris la constitution d'une flotte, ne serait-ce que pour transporter et protéger les humains... Les vaisseaux viennent de Ground Zero Games, et sont originellement des NSL (Neu-Schwabian League); j'adore le nom ^^.

Comme vous pouvez le voir, j'ai voulu être sûr de la stabilité des socles. Donc, j'ai utilisé des aimants néodymes collés sous les vaisseaux. Le test est concluant vous ne trouvez pas?

Security please!
The archeological expedition is gone for a short trip. It's now time to learn a bit more about the security in the new planet.
The first level of security is represented by the EPEC security teams. EPEC means Extra-Planetary Expeditions and Colonization.
They were a red uniform. Oh they're not that dangerous, but it's enough for most of the cases...
Le premier échelon de sécurité sur la planète est assurée par les équipes de sécurité de l'EPEC, qui signifie Etra-Planetary Expeditions and Colonization. ils sont aisément reconnaissables à leurs uniformes rouges. Ils ne sont pas bien méchants, mais ils sont largement suffisants.

European archeological expedition
Near the Beta-3 colony, something out of the ordinary was found. some say it's from alien origin. So, the European Federation has sent a team of eminent archeologists to try to find out, before the Pan-American Union sends a team.
Des rapports ont mentionnés la découverte d'un lieu pour le moins extraodinaire, proche de la colonie Beta-3. A priori, ce serait d'origine alien. La fédération européenne a aussitôt envoyé une équipe de spécialistes, avant que l'Union Pan-Américaine n'en fasse autant.

[WIP] Beta-3 Colony
Like I said yesterday, i'm onto a new project. As the title suggests, it will be about sci-fi skirmish. I have the minis, but I need buildings. So, I ordered sci-fi bits from Ground zero games, plus things from my trash can. I soon will be a master chief in recycling. Here is what I've done, for now.

J'ai peut-être plein de figs Ground Zero games, mais il me faut des batiments. donc, en regardant ce que j'ai dans ma poubelle (vive le recyclage), plus quelques fittings de chez GZG, j'ai commencé à exercer mes talents d'architecte. Voila ce que cela donne:

[WIP] The last of the Prussians
At last, the painting phase is finished, with the last 2 musketeer units:
So, to finish this commission, I just have to base the units, and voila! I should finish them tomorrow, and deliver the army friday night. the root beer will flow! Yay!
Bon, l'armée prussienne est pratiquement terminée. Les deux dernières unités sont peintes, et j'en aiprofité pour commencer le soclage. Si je continue ainsi, demain, tout est terminé, et je ferai la livraison vendredi soir.

[WIP] Les Prussiens bientôt en ordre de marche
It's been a week since my last update. Well, I was busy, and I learned I would be "inspected" in two weeks. So, a bit of stress actually.
Anyway. I've almost finished painting the Prussian army. Today, I varnished the 3 cavalry units:
Salut à tous. Presque une semaine sans poster, quelle honte de ma part. Je devrais me cacher tiens. Mais bon, j'étais un poil occupé par ma vie privée, et j'ai appris que j'étais inspecté dans 2 semaines. Pour info, c'est ma première inspection, alors je stresse un peu. Mais comme ce sont les vacances, j'en ai profité pour avancer la peinture de l'armée prussienne. J'ai terminé et vernis les 3 dernières unités de cavalerie, plus 2 généraux; 2 dragons et 1 régiment de cuirassiers. C'est toujours pour Might and Reason, en 10mm.

No real pictures for now, because they're not based yet ^^. Andi also undercoated the last 2 units: the musketeer... Fiou! Almost finished!

Ok. Now, I need something else to paint. Fortunately for me, I just received a package from Ground zero games. Amongst other things, this is what I've got to do:
A NAC and a NSL starter fleets. Very nice.
Et comme je n'ai "presque" plus rien à peindre, j'ai reçu un paquet de Ground Zero Games, comprenant, entre autres choses, 2 starter fleet: une NAC et une NSL. Franchement, les vaisseaux sont beaux.
